‘Veep’ stars honored at Emmys

Julia Louis-Dreyfus on Sunday won her second straight Emmy as best comedy actress for her role as vice president of the United States in the HBO series “Veep.” Louis-Dreyfus’s victory honored her for a portrayal of the cynical Selina Meyer in the send-up of modern-day Washington. “This is so much good fortune it’s almost too much to bear,” said Louis-Dreyfus. “I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to make people laugh.
